About

Vaughn Hemeon

Vaughn Hemeon (b. 2008) is a Los Angeles–based artist and illustrator whose work blends the bizarre, the surreal, and the playful. His drawings explore hybrid skeletons, distorted animals, and dreamlike anatomy, all rendered with meticulous linework and bursts of raw color. Balancing fine art and digital culture, Vaughn creates imagery that feels at once scientific and subconscious.

He sold his first artwork at just 12 years old and has since developed a practice that bridges traditional illustration, digital platforms, and commercial commissions. In 2022, Vaughn made his debut on OpenSea with Baer Market, a sold-out NFT collection introducing his original “Baers.” His career has continued to expand into animation, gaming, and gallery work, signaling the arrival of a new voice in contemporary illustration.

In 2025, Vaughn exhibited at LIGHT, a collaborative group show at The Earl Gallery in Los Angeles, presenting work that examined how light functions beyond the physical realm. His recent projects include character design for an independent video game and an animated commercial for Kosas Cosmetics.
